What you will be doing:

As a Team Leader at The Mixing Jug, you will ensure to delight every customer with a second-to-none service experience and quality food & drinks. You will be responsible for daily prep and maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness. This role may extend to provide cover to our other locations, which also makes this a more exciting and varied role.

Core tasks in this position are:

• Shop Supervision during absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager; goods (stock), equipment and customers, ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day operation

• Following standards in accordance with the Operations Manual

• Accurate Record keeping: temperatures and cleaning logs at regular intervals in absence of Manager

• Licensing requirements: familiar with the Licensing act and ensures licensing requirements are being followed with frequent and regular ID checks for alcohol sales

• Maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness standards

• End of day processes are followed including cleaning and storing away equipment and securing the store including any external stock areas

• Providing flexible cover to other areas of the business including other shop locations

• Escalating customer complaints to Management

• Providing exceptional customer service, making and preparing of food & drinks
