Loyalty Update

We’ve made the decision to end our loyalty star scheme.

This hasn’t been done lightly. We know some customers have enjoyed collecting stars, and we’re grateful for every bit of loyalty shown to The Mixing Jug.

​

But we believe loyalty should be earned through what we do every day: great coffee, warm service, consistency, quality, and a smooth experience, not through freebies, apps, or added noise in an already busy day.

​

Ending the scheme helps us focus on our menu, faster service, simpler, and a more frictionless experience for everyone, especially during busy periods.

What happens to existing stars?

No new stars can now be collected.

​

Any stars already collected can still be redeemed until 31 May. After this date, the loyalty scheme will fully close and remaining stars will no longer be redeemable.

Why we’ve made this change

We want to focus our energy on serving everyone well, every visit.

That means:

• faster service

• fewer delays at the till

• simpler ordering

• better consistency

• more focus on the customer experience

We truly value our regular customers, but we believe loyalty is best recognised through the care, quality, and service we provide, not through star collecting and data-retention.
