At The Mixing Jug, we’re building a fast-paced juice & coffee bar in the heart of Marlow and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Team Leader to help drive standards and support the team on shift.

What you’ll get

The role

• Hold final sign-off on opening and closing checklists on the shifts you lead
  Be first point of contact on the day for sickness, cover, supplier issues and customer situations

• Arrange cover and make the call on shift assignment

• Run the floor on collaboration and event days: supplier tastings, pop-ups, private bookings

• Set and hit clear shift targets on service speed, table clearing and checklist compliance

• Check supplier deliveries against the order and flag any discrepancy

• Spot-check drinks and food against standard through the shift, and correct in the moment

• Handle day-to-day performance conversations with the team directly

• Lead on-shift training, taking new and existing team members through the training modules

You’re:

• Confident leading by example on shift

• Reliable and accountable (this matters a lot)

• A strong communicator who supports and motivates others

• Comfortable making a decision on the spot and owning it

• Calm and organised in a busy environment

 

Hospitality experience helps but isn’t essential.

• Flexible shifts across weekdays + weekends
